Which technology does EarthLink support?

Windows 98 second edition or higher (such as ME, 2000, and XP) and Macintosh OS 10 or higher.

Why does my connection still seem slow?
There are many factors governing how quickly the information you request is downloaded to your computer and displayed on your screen. EarthLink’s broadband power line technology makes your Internet connection lightning fast; however other factors, such as heavy traffic to the site you want, can slow this process down.

How secure is my Internet connection?
EarthLink’s broadband power line technology uses strong encryption from the modem over the power line network to the Internet.

Do you block outgoing connections on port 25?
Yes. This is to prevent the use of email servers not owned and managed by EarthLink to forward unwanted SPAM emails.
